6: Don't Smile Until Christmas
There's a common proverb that says a teacher "Should not smile until Christmas." Essentially, if a teacher is too friendly or fun with their students, students will take advantage and walk all over them.
Is this true? Is it possible to have fun with your students but also have a well-managed and respectful classroom?
